I’m a 15+ year RN, with a certification in Neuroscience, so I deal with all things brain and spine. As a result, one of my goals in life is to never require spine surgery! There are many situations when it’s necessary, but as they say, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. And that’s how I found myself here. After 6 months of treatment, I feel it’s appropriate to leave my thorough review!
This office focuses on corrective chiropractics, and it is truly a lifestyle. Staying in a regular rhythm with adjustments is key, but they also give you stretches/exercises and modifications to make outside of the office, to help maintain your results and stay in proper alignment.
The positive energy in this office really contributes to the overall experience, and it helps you stay motivated and excited about your own progress. Dr. Himsel has top-notch assessment skills, and can always tell what I have/haven’t been doing, which helps me stay accountable.
I was initially very apprehensive about cervical adjustments, but he does these adjustments so effortlessly that he quickly gained my trust.
I know he has many patients with extreme pain, and impressive success stories, but mine is a bit less dramatic. My care here has nearly eliminated my headaches and jaw pain, as well as the constant tension around my thoracic spine that I’d come to accept as just a normal part of life. I have a lot more energy overall, and I feel like I’m a lot more in tune with taking care of my body, even beyond my spine!
I highly recommend Dr. Himsel for anyone seeking chiropractic care!

This chiropractor is the real deal! They truly care about their patients and are focused on correcting you long term, not just alleviating your pain for a short time. My 3 month follow up X-rays showed significant improvement in my neck! Everyone is so nice and welcoming. They hold me accountable for improving my health, and have a wholistic approach that had taught me overall how to get better results faster and be a healthier person. The dinner workshops are fantastic!

Been going a little over a month, starting to see real results. Friendly atmosphere, fantastic people, efficient visits, and continual improvements. Dr. Himsel is friendly and knowledgeable, pushes me to continue to work towards obtainable results. The supporting staff is wonderful as well.

Vital Connection Chiropractic is different than any other chiropractic clinic I’ve been to. The corrective based approach is designed to put patients on specific plans to correct the shape of their spine in order to re-establish the vital connection of our nervous system to the rest of our body. I would highly recommend getting treatment here!
